If you dream about shoes it means you’re a down to earth kind of person
At the weekend with jeans, people normally wear trainers
In American they are called sneakers, which comes from the verb ‘to sneak‘
I don’t know who invented the high-heel, but women owe that person a lot
I think it’s a money spinner
You turn like the wind
When I was telling Dan the Man about this quirky celebration of Wear Different Coloured Shoes Day, I nearly said:
“I have never heard of this day”
This sentence would have been INCORRECT, as obviously at the time of saying it, I DID know about this event, so I quickly changed what I was saying and said:
“I had never heard of this day until 2 hours ago”
Using the PAST PERFECT here shows that I didn’t know about it in the past, but NOW I do.
