Some people (like me) may not agree with The Royal Family, but it’s always great to talk about them! 😀 We talk about the strage things they do, like bringing their own CUTLERY 🍴, the strange way they eat dinner and why The Queen is so tight 🙊! Loads of RnR Grammar, loads of RnR Vocab and loads of ROCKin’! 👊
The RnR vocab that you will learn in today’s show:
Just a small thing about the difference between American English and British English, as we had the word ‘Nan’ today, which is VERY common in Britain to say ‘Grandmother’. Obviously sometimes the words change, but the main thing that confuses people is the spelling – is it ‘oganise’ or ‘organize’, ‘colour’ or ‘color’?
The first thing to say is that they are BOTH correct! Just make sure that you are consistent in your spelling, especially if you are writing something formal – so if you write ‘organize’ (the American version) then you MUST write ‘color’ – which is also the American version. If you start changing them, it looks a bit strange.
It’s not a huge problem, but it’s a problem, so better to be safe than sorry! 👊
When you have listened to the podcast and read the above, then you’re ready for the quiz below! 👊
