  • It doesnโ€™t sound quite as good, but perhaps quite apt
  • I went to London, the big smoke
  • We went to absolutely shit places, once we went to a place with swans
  • Had to bring youโ€™re A game for non-uniform day
  • In schools there are always a lot of rumours going around
  • One of the rumours in our school was that one of the teachers got it on with a pupil
  • Another thing on the coach is kids snogging
  • Wax works museum
  • Miss and Sir
  • The boys snuck into the girlsโ€™ room
  • Go in and really soak up the history
  • Through thick and thin โ€“ good times and the bad
  • Wowโ€ฆ this is a public slagging match here
  • Things are looking up as you didnโ€™t have a go at me

RnR Grammar

In today’s show Charlie said that she’s going on another trip soon with some 13 years olds and said:

“There might be some penises being drawn then”

Notice the use of the passive in the sentence ‘being drawn’, many people don’t know but there is also the present continuous form of the passive. Another example could be “I am being made to go to a party”.

It might sound strange ‘be’ + ‘being’, but that’s how we ROCK baby!ย ๐Ÿ‘Š
