The truth is I never loved you… or is it ‘the truth is I never left you’? 🤔 That’s just one of the things discussed today, as well as Dan the Man’s Salsa lessons 🕺, Pope Francis beating people up ⛪, hanging yourself before you go to bed 😲 and much more! All the RnR vocab is on the website, so just keeeeeeep on ROCKin’ baby! 👊

The RnR vocab that you will learn in today’s show:s

  • it’s been a while
  • your podcast is hands down the best
  • they’re hooked
  • kindred spirits
  • that’s really egotistical
  • first thing in the morning
  • Pope Francis was a bouncer, wasn’t he?
  • there’s a fight and they step in
  • they kept the corpse in the living room
  • We might be stepping on dangerous territory here
  • I always listen to that pumping iron
  • go and find matey
  • you bring a few beers and they bring a flask for their tea

RnR Grammar

I want to talk about the word ‘matey’ from today’s podcast, as I mentioned, it’s not a ‘correct’ word, but it’s used very often when we can’t remember the name of someone.

There are lots of these words in English that we use when we can’t think of the name of something. For example, if you can’t remember the name of a THING, you can say “that thingymajig” , or if you can’t remember the name of someone you can say “I spoke to what’s his name the other day”.

So if you can’t remember the name of someone or something… don’t worry!
