… and Radio DJs and that’s EXACTLY what we have today! A new member has been added to the RnR Team (another friend from school) and he (kind of) has experience as a Radio DJ, so we talk about all things radio including Hospital FM, dance routine, Take That concerts and lots more! Some lovely RnR Vocab too, so get on the headphones, sit back and just keeeeeeeep on ROCKin’, baby! 👊
The RnR Vocab to look out for in today’s episode:
- I’ve been putting it off for a long time
- Stich up
- That’s such an intelligent witty email address
- He beat me to it
- That’s a pretty punch review
- Fair play for even saying you wanted to be a DJ
- Across the pond
- Stop trying to make out you’re such a great person
- I’ve been meaning to put a radio in the car since I bought it in 2018
- It went a bit downhill when you started the dance routine
- The bouncers quickly put a stop to that
- But all that being said, when a rhythm comes out there’s nothing quite like it
- Spotify is the go to
RnR Grammar
When I said “I’ve been meaning to put a radio in the car since 2018”, notice the Present Perfect Continuous for this phrase “I’ve been meaning to” as it’s something that you STILL haven’t done, so it started in the past and is still in progress!
